Bielefelder -- Available Babies

Many years ago we were blessed with a German Daughter in Law.  At the time, I told her I would research chickies to see if there was a breed from Germany that would work well in the United States.  Was there?  Is there?

Well, to my astonishment, I found one of the most incredible chickie breeds out there.  The Bielefelder.  This wonderful chicken does it all.  It lays a lot of large to extra large brown eggs.  The birds are very docile and wonderful to have around.  They love people, and have a great personality.  They are also large enough to be considered dual purpose.  And when they have babies, the babies are auto-sexed, so you can tell males from females at hatch...so no worries about receiving a rooster!
