Ayam Cemani

Ayam Cemani's are a fun, exotic breed to have in your flock.  This bird is prized for it's gorgeous luminous black coloring.  Their combs, wattles, faces, beaks, tongues, meat,  bones, feathers and internal organs are also black (or dark gray).  They are a slight, fast bird that likes to run around the yard and roost in trees.  They lay about 80 medium sized cream colored eggs a year, but do not lay continuously.  They will lay for a bit, then take a break.

This super gorgeous rare bird is a wonderful addition to a backyard flock.
