Silverudds Blue -- Coop Ready

NOTE:  This is for Coop Ready Chickies.  My Silverudds Blue have not started hatching yet for 2023...so once they do, it will be that many weeks afterwards before they are available. 

Silverudd's Blue is a breed of domestic chicken that is known for its unique appearance and good egg-laying abilities. It was originally developed in Sweden by the breeder Martin Silverudd in the 1920s and 1930s by crossing different breeds, including the Ameraucana, Barred Plymouth Rock, and Cream Legbar.

The Silverudd's Blue chicken has a striking appearance with a slate blue plumage that is laced with black and white feathers. They also have a distinct crest on their heads and a beard under their chin, which gives them a very unique and recognizable look.

Apart from their attractive appearance, Silverudd's Blue chickens are also known for their excellent egg-laying capabilities. They can lay around 200-280 eggs per year, and their eggs are medium to large in size and have a blue-green color.
