NOTICE of DELAY

Hi My Wonderful Customers!

Many of you may know the I am having knee replacement surgery.  That is happening the third week of July.  I do not know how long it will be before I feel well enough to drive to deliver chickies or go out to the chickie area to select chickies for shipping and deliveries.  Also, my doctors want me to be very careful not to fall the first few weeks (and I may be using a walker...not conducive to chicken runs and coops).

I am hoping to fully focus on my rehabilitation and recovery, so that I can get back to delivering chickies to you as soon as possible.  Because of that, my last day confirmed day for shipping is July 20th, and my last local deliveries to Southern California will be July 18th.

I have been working nonstop to make sure the chickies are comfortable and well looked after while I am incapacitated.  Luckily, I have several people that are extremely experienced with the chickies and they will be spoiled!

I am hoping to resume shipping by August 10th and deliveries by the following week.  I will have the ages of the chickies reflecting their age when being delivered at that timeframe, so if you order them in advance of when I am shipping / delivering again, they should be at the beginning of that age range when I deliver them.  For babies, we will still be hatching and they will be available for shipping, regardless of if you live locally or not.  We have one small hatch planned for local deliveries the beginning of September, as I figure I will definitely be recovered enough to drive by then.

Thank you so much for being such loyal customers for over 17 years!  Just know that text and email responses will be delayed...especially the first few weeks after surgery!

Fondly, Renee -- owner and chickie mama
