Splash Ameraucanas Bantams (True Ameraucanas...not Easter Eggers) -- Available Now

If you know Backyard Chickies...you know we are obsessed with blue laying breeds.  We have splash, black, white, lavender, blue and next year Ermine colored Ameraucanas.  So when I visited one of my customers house last year, I was smitten with her bantam Ameraucanas!  Bantams!  They were the cutest little things, and they have the beautiful coloring, adorable cheeks, and lay blue eggs!  I figured my customers that want bantams would love them.  So this year for the first time, we are offering Splash Colored Bantam Ameraucanas. 

These are true, purebred Ameraucanas...not the Easter Eggers sold at feed stores.  They are soft and beautiful with gorgeous splash colored grey and white feathers.  They like attention, and will reward you by trusting you to pick them up and carry them around.  They are also high flyers, and even as little ones will try to get to the top of any branches you give them.  They are very social and a wonderful bird to have in your flock as they get along with most other breeds.  

These Splash Ameraucanas lay beautiful, delicious blue eggs.  These are a favorite with my family and friends, who love the color and the taste.  They are good egg layers, and produce almost 200 eggs per year.
